A note from the founder:

Hi! Amanda here.

The PDX Gift Guide is currently a one woman operation, with the help of the emotional support squad, Michael & Penny, and friends and family who have generously offered their time, advice, & feedback.

My ambitions for this guide extend far beyond what you see here & what I can accomplish on my own. In August, I left my full-time job of 9 years, so I could chase this dream of supporting local businesses that has been marinating in my heart for the better part of a decade now.

The PDX Gift Guide is meant to be an evergreen service, a tool you can use 365 days of the year to shop for yourself, loved ones, and to discover new businesses all over the city. I will be adding new products & businesses daily - even after the holidays!

There are a lot of causes and organizations in this world deserving of your money & attention. I plan on growing this project to a place where it is self-sustaining, but in the meantime I humbly ask for your support.
