Make & Mary became official in 2016 but has been incubating over generations. Our work has been inspired by our mixed Mexican and Scottish heritage, and our formulas have been perfected for over 20 years by our herbalist and founder, Yvonne Perez Emerson.
You can find us at our flagship store where we also have our production facility in Portland, Oregon. Our offerings are carried throughout the US as well. Our team is small and mighty, out of the ten people we contract or employ, nine identify as women and six as BIPOC.

Founder Story
I am a dreamer, a medicine woman, a Bruja, an Earth sister, a birth doula, an intuitive light worker and community builder..... When I became a young woman, I followed the path of the artist and became a graphic designer. I went on to lead huge teams in the agency world, open my own studio, start a non-profit, host international design conferences and create community through public art and giving back. I have always been lead by my dreams.
Having Make & Mary has given me the opportunity to share the love I have for holistic living, creativity, plant medicine, energy work and community. In 2016, I opened up my studio and started Make & Mary with our workshop series. I wanted to create a safe place to explore the world of cannabis through hands-on making. At the core was and still is community gathering, learning and sharing. Since then I have hosted 100's of workshops and many women's retreats. I am so thankful that I have an opportunity to share these experiences with our community. Thank you for visiting.
